WWE has confirmed the latest inductee for this year’s Hall of Fame.
Kane was officially confirmed as the latest inductee for the upcoming Class of 2021 ceremony taking place during WrestleMania 37 weekend.
Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, got his start in professional wrestling in 1992 in the St. Louis area. In 1995, he was signed by the WWF to play the character Dr. Isaac Yankem, Jerry “The King” Lawler’s personal dentist. He mainly feuded with Bret “Hitman” Hart, the archrival of Lawler at the time.
After the Yankem character disappeared, he wrestled for a short while as the infamous Fake Diesel.
In 1997, the Kane character was created to be the brother of the Undertaker. Kane would debut in the first-ever Hell in a Cell match between Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, ripping the door off the structure and giving Undertaker a Tombstone Piledriver.
